Each month there is a special pot-luck Village Dinner that concludes with an interesting program.

Home Fellowship

Monthly Home Fellowship gatherings bring together small groups for food and in-depth fellowship.

Musical Concerts

Monthly musical concerts are scheduled each year between Christmas and Easter.

Bible Conference — Every winter Maranatha Baptist Church hosts three outstanding Bible conferences with skilled Bible teachers.

Disney

There is a lot to do at Disney -- from an all-day at the Magic Kingdom to a shorter visit to Disney Springs (free entrance, but mainly a shopping area).  Disney Magic Kingdom is about 65 miles from Sebring.

Clearwater Marine Museum

Clearwater Marine Museum - Children love to visit the Clearwater Marine Museum at Clearwater Beach to see Winter the Dolphin. It is 120 miles northwest of Sebring.

Legoland

Legoland is on the site of the old Cypress Garden park in Winter Haven, about 45 miles north of Sebring.

The Ringling Museum

The Ringling Museum is in Sarasota, about 90 miles west of Sebring.

The Edison & Ford Winter Estates

The Edison & Ford Winter Estates is in Ft. Myers, about 90 miles southwest of Sebring.Gatorama is a great place to see alligators and crocodiles up close.  It is about 45 miles south of Sebring.

Beaches

Great beaches on the gulf coast include Clearwater, Anna Maria, Longboat Key, Venice, and Sanibel.  Beaches on the Atlantic include Vero Beach, Lake Worth (near Palm Beach), and Ft. Lauderdale Beach.  Nice eating places include Benny's on the Beach at Lake Worth and Mulligans at Vero Beach.

Bok Tower Garden

Bok Tower Garden is a lovely botanical garden and carillon tower about 45 miles north of Sebring.

Sea World & Universal Studios

Sea World and Universal Studios are other attractions in Orlando.

Lion Country Safari

Lion Country Safari is near West Palm Beach, 100 miles southeast of Sebring.  It offers a drive-through safari tour and a variety of other kid-friendly activities.

Sebring International Raceway

Sebring International Raceway is a famous road racing track just a few miles south of Sebring.

Fisherman's Village

Fisherman's Village on the Pier at Punta Gorda offers several nice restaurants and shops.  It is about 70 miles from Sebring on the way to Ft. Myers.

The Charles F. Weigle House Museum

The Sebring Historical Society is fortunate to have both the Archives of Sebring and the Charles F. Weigle House Museum.

The Archives has many collections that tell the history of Sebring, Florida and Highlands County. The House Museum was the home of Dr. Charles F. Weigle, a well known Evangelist and Hymn Composer. His best known hymn, "No One Ever Cared for Me Like Jesus" was written at this home in 1932. Dr. Weigle and George E. Sebring, Jr., the founder of Sebring, Florida were very good friends living next door to each other.
